Our last night in Italy (for now) we came down from the mountain ( not in his triumph) (or similar) and have spent our last 2 days on the shores of lake Garda at the beautiful hotel Gardenia Al Lago in the small town of Gargnano. Taking it relatively easy, relaxing in the peaceful garden beside the lake or on one of our 2 count then 2, balconies overlooking the lake! Took a short trip out this morning to drive (a challenging road) from lake side up through a fabulous gorge to the hill ...

Woohoo!
So, I settled down with a coldie and watched the GP while Treas went walkabout and annoyed the local shopkeepers.
And....I swear! I didn't know! Truly! Cross my heart and all that stuff...!
Later on, we went for a ride on the bikes after I gave them a quick 100,000km service, and it was very pleasant. Stumbled upon a mob setting-up ...

... for windsurfing, sailing and many other water sports and being late on a Sunday arvo they were all on the move! The views of the steep mountain crags and the glimpses of blue/green lake water got us very excited for the days ahead! As the coach pulled into the waterfront area near to our hotels there was a bit of a moment as Sally announced that half of us had been moved across the piazza to another ...
