After an early morning swim in the pool and breakfast on the terrace, we said our farewells to Mark and Debs and hit the road. Chris took us part way up yesterday's cycle route to a fabulous viewpoint of lake Como and then onto the Ghisallo Di Madonna. The church a shrine to cyclists was great to see and a whole lot easier to get to in a car, but it somehow felt like I'd cheated ...

Taking it relatively easy, relaxing in the peaceful garden beside the lake or on one of our 2 count then 2, balconies overlooking the lake! Took a short trip out this morning to drive (a challenging road) from lake side up through a fabulous gorge to the hill ...
