Sleeping Saurians and Endless Black Deserts

I did not sleep at all well last night. It was extremely cold in the tent, probably because of the clearness of the sky, my feet and indeed my whole body were cold despite my usually reliable sleeping bag. This, coupled with the exertions of yesterday, mean that I don't full of energy in the morning, but I must press on regardless.

After the usual safety briefings we were off. There were three courses all similar to Go-Ape courses in the UK. They involved various obstacles to clamber over, through and around up in the canopy and several high, long and fast zip-lines. The boys had ...

Family in Reno

... in the area, and not many of them sounded good. It seems like most were in casino parking lots (perhaps not the ideal place for our two kids), but ours at least sounded decent. It was actually a really nice park with a couple of big fenced areas for the dogs. It was close to the Sparks Marina, which had a playground, dog park, and a great 2 mile path around the lake. I woke up early and took the dogs out there - ...
