We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

At this station we were told that we could move to the last coach and have rooms 3 and 4, so we would be opposite each other, and also that we would be having dinner about 7.30. We just managed to move into the new rooms when we were called for dinner so we went forward to the dining car.

The meal was great, with a starter of salad and roll, followed by six cheese lasagna for JJ, tilapia ...

We set aside a few days for a trip to Reno after leaving Yosemite. My aunt Cindy and my cousins Brenna and Abby live in the area, and I hadn't seen them in years. So we headed up to Sacramento and then through the Sierra Nevadas into Reno. Without thinking, I passed the bigger towns and didn't realize we needed fuel until we were well up into the mountains. We were on the interstate, but ...
