Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.

... the road at the town of Lusen and so after a few kind words its back on my bike and back down the road we have just come.

Soon I turn off down the scenic road to Brixen. I travelled this road last year and really enjoyed it. It follows a river much of the way but is extremely rough and is not well kept at all.

... got to Trento, which was luckily only another 20 minutes away, I went to the nearest shop to buy Luca a new outfit. As he was now starving we went straight to lunch.
