The mighty Dolomite Passes
... the place was just like the passes and dead as a post. Not a single shop or hotel was open. The lake was frozen over so it shows just how cold it was up here in the mountains.
I decided to return to Cortina and booked into a wonderful hotel for the night. On heading out into town in search of food I must have scanned every street in the town but just could not find a single open restaurant and so had to settle for pizza from a take away;-((

Left padova train to Verona from there suppose to be a fast train to Bolzano, yes it broke down so were put on normal fast regional train, bugger, only ended up 30mins longer somehow normally 90 mins.
