... quite a fast train, smooth ride and comfy with beautiful scenery. A man came past a few times with a trolley of drinks and snacks so we had everything we needed for the journey. Travel day to Ulm

Stopped to do some shopping. Supermarket would not accept any of our cards, as none issued in EC, whatever that is. Paid cash! That was a first!

Drove on to Ulm, Bavaria's second city. We parked at our first Stelplatz - a designated camping area for Motorhomes, like a car park, where water and waste disposal is available. Trams went past regularly but not enough to bother us. This Stelplatz was free. Slept ...

... there was not a great deal to see.

We had a lot of people come to speak to us about the van, including some real life (to us) cowboys!

We left the site and visited Ottenbeuren on the way out, we had been told by a local to go see the Monastery, it was an impressive building - one of the largest in Germany... She also recommended some other places to visit but we will come to them next..
