A bit further up the road is Nocera Superiore—and here I veer off on a wild goose chase following a sign to some Roman ruins, only to follow a twisting lane up along the perimeter of the town, past farm estates and ugly abandoned homes… but no Roman ruins… Finally I give up and head back, looking for the heart of the town. ...

... for the rest of the day with Sarah hot one minute, shivering the next and hanging her head over the toilet bowl in between. Happy days!!





Mikayla and Mike set off to find something for dinner, which we had to surreptitiously sneak through the room and eat huddled on our tiny balcony so as not to alert Sarahs sense of smell prompting another mad dash to the bathroom.
