... ausprobieren, nachdem mein Sonnenbrand auf dem Bauch mal wieder etwas abgeklungen ist. Nach dem surfen habe ich mich fuer eine Stunde der australischen Herbstsonne oben ohne preisgegeben und was ist los? -&gt; Krebsy! Man haette es besser wissen muessen, aber wer nicht hoeren will, muss fuehlen.

... flaches Wasser laufen mussten, habe ich mir lauter Muscheln in den Fuß getreten, dann saß ich mit Clayton in einem Kayak. Mit einigen Hindernissen (umgefallenen Baumstämmen usw.) sind wir dann irgendwann an einem Seil angekommen, von dem uns der Kayaking Instructor ins Wasser springen ließ. Der kleine Fluss war aber viel zu flach und nach dem sich einige dabei verletzt hatten, habe ich mir (als Einzige) diese Tortur erspart. Dass ich als Feigling bezeichnet wurde, war mir dabei ...

... are VERY good! I then cycle to try and get to Muttonbird Island where all the birds are - but I end up at Corambirra Point which is equally lovely but not the island I wanted to get to. The Point seems really old and has an arm stretching out to sea and near Muttonbird Island. I spot ancient rail tracks peeking out of newish concrete and wonder what the history behind this is, and how odd it is to have rail tracks going out on a concrete arm which seems to go ...

... Lorna managed to bash herself on the nose with her board and she thought she'd broken it. She hadn't, but 5 minutes later she did it again, the numpty! Again, no breakage's though. Hopefully the board will eventually knock some sense into her. It was really tiring tackling all those waves (didn't spot any Mexican one's though), so we headed back to the park pool for a rest. ... later, and the view had flattened out into unending motorway with bush on either side. Luckily Manuel had cruise control, because this was a long, straight drive. The smoothness of the drive and the uninteresting view combined to make good nap times. I felt bad for Manuel as I was sitting in the front seat and so should have fulfilled some entertainment duties, but he didn't seem to mind. ... sneak peak in the packing shed. After warming up our stomach with a free banana, we had lunch in the cafe where they serve lots of, you've guessed it; bananas. The fresh banana smoothies were pretty awesome though. However, we reckon if you worked there you'd be pretty sick of bananas. Whist waiting for our bus to whisk us further up to Byron Bay, we decided to walk along the jetty as we had the time. Which turned out to be a good thing. Not only was it calm ...

... voor: na een lunch zijn we dan ook maar weer rustig teruggelopen naar het hostel: eindelijk hebben we weer wat zon, maar blijkbaar zoeken ook alle australische inwoners van Coffs op zondag het strand op en dat was toch werkelijk te druk voor ons. Op maandag regende het weer en zat er niets anders op dan een film te kijken en nog meer te lezen, terwijl we op de bus zaten te wachten.

... to stay here for a couple years and get there hockey program running. They all headed off to a Big BBQ after the game that they wanted me to attend but couldn't cause Peter and Fran wanted to make us a big dinner for our last night in Coffs. So now it is Sunday morning and we are sadly packing up our things to leave. We are going to jump in the RV and start driving up North. Not sure where we will stop next? Update when I can :)

... to an end but not before we had a night staying at a house belonging to some hare krishna's. They were great people who were kind enough to let us stay at their house. The only downside was being woken up the next morning to bells chiming and chanting......those of you who know what i'm like on a morning will know what my reaction was......
