    Friday 26 June
    Left the anchorage,
which was very peaceful, and headed for Catergena. In the afternoon wandered around the town, which is rather pleasant.

In the evening, justby the marina a stage was assembled and a DJ and band played until the early hours of the morning.

    Saturday 27 June
After our vital groceries were delivered we headed off for Mar Menor (Little Sea). We made the 8 pm bridge and proceeded to one of the islands in the south. ...

wind was quite strong – at times blowing F6 but at least on the bum. Got some pretty good sailing and surfing in at times as the swell picked up to around 1.5m.

The ride was very rough. Tonight, I am going to celebrate the final night of festivities (Hogueras de San Juan) in Alicante. I am very ...

You probably wouldn't go to Crevillent just to visit the town, its away from the coast so less busy, is a centre for carpet manufacture, is not too far from a good climbing crag, but does have a very good campsite and you can use the large swimming pool that is part of the hotel. Yes - when its over 30C most days its important to have somewhere to cool down. This was our base for a few days before we headed up to Alicante for the Hogueras (Bonfires of Fiesta de San ...

We are continuing to balance our activities between getting baked on the inland climbing crags and getting baked on the beach! However we have avoided any heatstroke or sun burn.. we must be getting acclimatised.

We stopped of at a spectacular spot on our way back to the coast, at La Panocha, which is in a rock ridge to the south of Murcia. The road up to ...
