The Castle and its old walled town are delightful and interesting, with the connections to “Papa Luna”. Apparently the town is one of only 3 Papal Sees which include Rome and Avignon. It was also fun watching the fishing boats come in and seeing them unload their catches, including loads of prawns and calamari.

It is also situated in a nature reserve affording us many varied walks. I can hear the sea from my bed at night and the sun shines during the day.

... of self appointed pope who moved there to escape criticism (and attacks) from "his" people. Despite the many assassination attempts, he died peacefully of natural causes at an old age. The best thing about the castle was the view from the top. You could see the Mediterranean (blue blue blueeeeee) and the town.

day two of the gig, and to be honest I've had enough of typing now.
forgot to say that plan b were bloody brilliant last night, probaby the best in show, briliant beat box guy opened up for them, really good.

anyway, today we saw Elbow, who as always got the crowd going, and heard the stranglers, who I kn ow more of than i thought, then saw brandon flowers, the strokes and then went to james murphy.

so the gig starts today
we get up and take a walk down to the beach, to get some money, some food,and try get a game of mini golf in, but its closed for siesta time.
we went to a place we thought was a golf course, but it turned out to be for invester looking at golf course models made of plastic! nice water show though!
