    After the final night of terror at the hotel I waited for first light so I would have light thru the bathroom window in the event of a blackout. After 6am I was able to take a shower and was out of the hotel by 6.40am.

    I just waited on the bed with the tv and lights on, hoping there wasnt another blackout, so I could make it to sunrise to escape out of here. It sounded like a scene from a bad horror movie.

    Taluksangay Floating Village and Mosque

    ... was supposed to ask for the Nunio family but I could see the Mosque so carried on walking.

    The Mosque can easily be seen on an inlet of land in an inner harbour. It is characterized by its red roof and two minarets. One is peculiarly taller than the other.

    Wandering around I came to an internet cafe and I hadnt logged on since finding a cafe in Marawi. An hour cost 15P (.35 cents). I was able to do my online check in for my two flights home but they didnt have a printer for the boarding card. ...

    It was a small one room Mosque but interestingly had Quranic writings written on the ceiling. I'm not sure how you're supposed to read it without straining your neck or even how it was painted like that.
