    ... next stop was San Luis Reservoir, a huge expanse of water, apparently MUCH larger during normal rain cycles. We viewed a short film and took advantage of the available restrooms. We found it ironic that the water cooler was empty at one of California's largest reservoirs. John and I agreed the potty break was the main objective of this stop, what he calls a "not-mucher."

    ... Tonight's effort, the Mount Whitney IPA is a testament to the tallest mountain in the Sierra Nevada and the Sequoia National Park we visited. Floral, malty, citrus they say......heavy, bitter and nasty aftertaste I say. Flowers? Poison Ivy I reckon. Boring label as well. Our journey moves into Mormon country now, with its bizarre liquor laws. Not sure what that means for microbreweries.......soon find ...

    ... bleed into the wine adding to the finished taste. The barrels allow the wine to breathe and seep a bit and,which all this helps produce the finished taste and nose of the wine. How much do you need to spend to get a decent bottle of wine? If your regular purchase in the supermarket is a 5 bottle you are Iin for a big surprise your drinking lizard blood and artificial colourings mate?     ... met an American guy named Kieth at Lunds train station. He had just gotten his Swedish Visa and was able to give Nick some tips about how to get his.
