    ... to experience but it
wasn't somewhere we wanted to stay overnight. So we headed to Fresno
and then stopped at a Pilot Truck Stop in Madera, just outside of
Fresno. It was chock full of trucks and we ended up parking on the
road outside. Thankfully I had the eye mask and ear buds to hide the
sound of a hundred idling trucks. They go all night long.
    Surprisingly, we all slept ok.

running off it since it rained last night and it was warm and had a good deal
of snow melt. Then we drove to the trail to vernal falls. We walked around for
    an hour looking ...

Today we visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The day was supposed to be another scorcher, which I found difficult to believe, since we were going to be in an immense forest. And fortunately, I was right. We enjoyed a pleasant 70-72 degrees all day long, while it was 99 degrees on the outside of the parks. We left the hotel at 7:45 and began the one hour drive through miles of orange groves and olive groves and vineyards.

A lot of money was used for the bus transportation and we could've found closer areas to travel to or asked Pakou's cousin to drive us on some days to save money. We spent more and less money on certain things such as souvenirs.
