“ Larry, Joe patties is in Pensacola Florida and Top sail rv resort is in Sana Rosa beach next to Destin. We just had a Happy Hour together so I understand the typos. ”

It didn't take us long to get to the camp site at Pensacola Beach. It's also called Santa Rosa Island and is attached by a massive road bridge. Lots of beach houses, hotels and restaurants on the way (just like Cayman) and then a road with white sands on either side. It's a National Park and also has an old Civil War Union Fort. ... This park is close to Pensacola Beach which is a very popular holiday area with lots of hotels and holiday rentals. Again all the summer recreational activities were closed and even some of the restaurants. We spent the four days relaxing, checking out the actual fort (Fort Pickens which dates back to 1834) which is open to the public every day and was also open one night to explore with candle light with the volunteers dressed in period military costumes. The beaches ...

... it to rescue her, just like Hercules in the eponymous Disney movie. I went from zero to hero just like that.

So, to make a long story short (yeah, right), I rescued my roommate and we made it back home in one piece, despite almost dying a few times on the way home.

What have I learned from this:

        1) Never go out into a storm like this unless absolutely necessary. (I'm not completely sure my circumstances count ...
