    ... until the pilot finally decided the brake problem wasn't going to be fixed any time soon and cancelled the flight. UAL and its Star Alliance partner, Lufthansa (LH), "cooperated" just enough to take us, on giant buses, to dinner at a local hotel.     Visit to Ranu and Reecha's was awesome! Kids played games and watched movies, between studying for finals. We took an invigorating (read..."Whew") hike around the Montalvo Arts Center area and had an amazing BBQ meal at Spicy Lam-dons (meat and vegetables).

    Rodin's exhibit at the Stanford Museum was informative and a must ...

    ... that whole area is technically Big Sur, I don't think so because signs kept popping up along the way that said "Big Sur-10 miles," "Big Sur-4 miles," which would lead me to believe that it wasn't Big Sur yet.     A day of biking.

    The photo is cloudy and foggy but that blew off heading south.

    US 101 - beautiful curvy roads: La Honda Rd, Skyline Blvd, Woodside Rd, etc (all amazing!) - lots of bikes and expensive cars - the coastline on CA-Highway-1 with the waves and surfers and setting sun.

    All in great company.
