We bought a big plastic container of chicken and noodle soup, and had half each - heated in the microwave, with some yummy french bread and cheese for lunch, while we were waiting for our washer and dryer to finish. In the afternoon, we went for a big walk around Los Gatos. It was quite hot, but not too bad, and we visited the modern library, where Aya & Chris go with Sakura sometimes.     ... that whole area is technically Big Sur, I don't think so because signs kept popping up along the way that said "Big Sur-10 miles," "Big Sur-4 miles," which would lead me to believe that it wasn't Big Sur yet. But I honestly thought the part before Big Sur was better than Big Sur itself.     ... south to Portola Valley. After a day of intense driving, we were greeted by Joanna's parents w a delicious home cooked meal.
