... All of the VISTAs were splitting up into different activities. Some wanted to go see the Braves game. Others the music festival. We decided to go salsa dancing! It was a blast. We got there for the lesson and learned how to do the basics. Then the band started to play and the floor turned into a bunch of swerving and swirling bodies. I have always loved salsa dancing and being there with wonderful people made it an awesome night.

The 2 years we spent in Santiago were even lovelier than we'd hoped. Having the coastline at our fingertips and the mountains not too far made it spectacular. Our daily life only enhanced with Chile’s nature, their food and of course the spice of their people (both native and foreign).

We would have loved to go to the big aquarium, but we were lacking time, and it was way to expensive (40 USD pp!). In the afternoon, we took the flight to Lima (Peru).Ths was also the end of a first big episode in our journey.
