          Day 3 Ocho Rios Jamaica

... guide. It was so difficult trying to get up the falls because you couldn't see where you were stepping ,but at the same time it was a memory I never want to forget . After Dunns river falls we went to the beautiful beach there for around 40 min , then split off in groups to go to margarita vile. Jamaica was beautiful and exploring it was so much fun. It was also really interesting seeing the life styles of ...

... over. After a lengthy chat and a bit of a barter we ended up walking away with two mahogany totem figures, carved with our names, of course, and Sven even swapped his Sunderland shirt with a Jamaican one! After leaving that stall it was already 25 past 12 and we had 5 minutes! Trouble is, all the sellers want you to look and buy their stuff! We ended up with another two totem figures (not as good quality as the other two) before we managed to get free of the shops ...

It’s not unlike the usual stuff we’ve experienced world over but it’s next level here. And the shady characters look really shady. Grills in their teeth, dark glasses and filthy clothes. The tourist strip is nothing really. A Burger King, a KFC, a few shabby trinket shops, and some bars you’d only walk into if you had a suicide wish. We make a break for the beach.

          ‘Goin to the beach?’

          Here at last!

Arrived at the hotel. Boy it is hot!! After a long check in we discovered that our room was not an ocean view :-( Nickii wanted ice, ice machines on each odd floor not working. I must have walked a mile to get Nickii a bucket of ice!! Complaint time! We have to got to front desk tomorrow to have our room upgraded. We've had a quick look round the resort and ...

... until I was comfortable that they knew what they were doing! I did not let on that the stingrays were and could actually swim by at any minute (which they did do later). We spent probably the next hour have a fantastic time seeing coral, fish and all sorts. When a baby stingray did swim by there was a little panic but we were in shallow water and I was somehow left holding two kids in my arms briefly :0). It was such a shame but if you go down to to swim ...
