    Everything about this hotel is wonderful, there is even free wifi, except the bed is extremely hard.

    ... a bus available that could fit us all. This gave us time to get some breakfast and find the right gate so it passed quickly. The bus itself was fine, a little cold but most of us had a nap since it took an hour. It was also raining heavily in Tongli so we took an electric tourist buggy into town.     ... and then promptly realised we had lost Gordon who had been dancing along with his earphones in! Eventually we got hold of him and we all went into the actual garden which was very impressive. There were lakes and ornate bridges and manicured plants. It was very busy but we kept stopping for photos and the Chinese tourist enjoyed taking them of us too!     We arrived in Suzhou under half hour and were immediately enveloped in a smog of dust and smell of chemicals. Coming out of the train station I felt the air was filled with heavy smoke. Vicky, our guide, said that for all its ancient beauty, the town is also an industrial center with several manufacturing factories emitting toxic waste in the environment.
