    Barrow upon Soar We had a great start to the day when we Skyped our children for half an hour. It is so good to see and talk to your family. It makes missing them more tolerable.     York and Breakfast at Betty's We found Betty's tea rooms in old York. The window display is very traditional with freshly made pies, tarts beside their fine array of teas and coffees. We walk upstairs to the tea rooms decorated with teapots and marble top tables. We order breakfast with our tea. The Royal Doulton cups are delivered before our tea.     Busy day today helping Allen, Jane and the Hollowell Rally group get ready for their annual giveaway evening. Mum, Dad and I were enlisted to help with the food, they were catering for about 300.
