As one of last year's candidates stated "Buckle up-you're in for a ride"...I have taken that as the indication to seriosuly knuckle down and firm up my scholarship plans. So to those of you kind enough to read this, watch this space!

Anyway, off we set with me feeling full of the joys of spring (or even summer). The first lock we got to had one of its gates open - possibly blown open by the wind.
