I grabbed the bus to Frankfurt Hahn after checking flights and booking on a Ryanair at 06:45 this morning. I sat in the airport for a few hours as it was an early flight but it was fine. We left on time and despite a rather bumpy landing I made my way from Stanstead to Kings Cross for the train to Grantham and then home.

8.20am the church bells began to ring and I walked into St.Leonard's at 8.30 for the communion service, and warmly greeted by people I have already met, plus the minister. Sat in Sue's conservatory looking out to her beautiful garden whilst doing travelpod etc. Scones, jam and cream were put in the car and we drove to Daventry to Sue's son Stuart's house where we had afternoon tea with Stuart and Vicki, sitting outside in the sun, and got quite warm.
