I grabbed the bus to Frankfurt Hahn after checking flights and booking on a Ryanair at 06:45 this morning. I sat in the airport for a few hours as it was an early flight but it was fine. We left on time and despite a rather bumpy landing I made my way from Stanstead to Kings Cross for the train to Grantham and then home.

I have a couple of hours to waste away so grab a coffee and sit outside. I notice ...

Back to the night of the bar crawl, we eventually passed a drunken man flailing about in the street who grabbed one of the girls we were with. She was understandably scared and ...

... photography, blow. But then had it been allowed we would not have had time to see what we had. Once out of the private garden we were able to take photos, but they didn't amount to many.
A cuppa in the marquee (set up for the public during this summer opening of the State Rooms 27 July to 27 September) then we departed for home soon after 3pm, and had a good run, arriving 5.30.
What a great day, how fortunate I was to have been included with this lovely ...

8.20am the church bells began to ring and I walked into St.Leonard's at 8.30 for the communion service, and warmly greeted by people I have already met, plus the minister. Sat in Sue's conservatory looking out to her beautiful garden whilst doing travelpod etc. Scones, jam and cream were put in the car and we drove to Daventry to Sue's son Stuart's house where we had afternoon tea with Stuart and Vicki, sitting outside in the sun, and got quite warm. Prepared for move tomorrow to host ...
