We visited some of the local ceramiche cosmolena (ceramic shop) to view their beautiful artwork. After we had finished for the day we headed home and took a "short cut." This one was a little easier because there wasn't quite as much traffic. I was told that it is illegal for a hotel patron to leave an establishment without being offered coffee and a light meal so the hotel is preparing a snack for us prior to its regular breakfast service. We left Positano by boat and experienced another terrific ride along the Amalfi Coast. On this trip we were joined by Michelangelo, a local guide, who pointed out and described the various sights along the way. Apparently, the boat also doubled as a fishing boat because the small crew of 3 had two lines running off lthe back of the boat (is that the bow or stern?).
