So when I teach the classes for the first time, I'll ask my students when their free periods are, and hopefully, I'll be able to move the classes to daytime periods. As is common in Chinese universities, my students take all their classes together, and hence, are free at the same times.

Surprise Snowfall

... snow was disappearing fast.

I managed to take about ten good photos before so much of the snow melted that there was no longer a point. I spotted Tiffany walking to the front of campus, so I walked with her, took some photos, then turned around and walked back.

Almost all the snow is gone now, three hours after I woke up, but it was still a fun surprise.

Edited to add that my mom did mean to send the net lights. She's a smart one! She knew they'd be easier to hang in my window than regular lights. Her foresight is an example of what I call a "mom thing" -- a special problem solving ability that only moms have.
