Geeststrasse 50, Ecke Werftstrasse Bremen, Bremen, Germany, 28237
Today we went to Bremen (Mason, Shawn, Steven, Soth, Dave and I). We took the 9:20 train from Braunschweig but 2 of the guys didn't make that one so we waited in Hannover for an hour for them to catch up on the next train. It was a 2 hour 20 minute total trip which was not bad.
It was raining when we got to Bremen so picture taking was difficult. We didn’t have any plans so I bought a map/book and we wanted to find somewhere to eat lunch. We wandered towards the ...
... this area seemed like a **** hole. It was dirty and of course dark and cold. So after a few blocks I headed back to the train station to sit around and wait to call Norbert, a guy who works for our company in Bremen. While sitting in the train station I realized I could charge my phone off my computer with a cord that wasn’t built for my phone, so that was nice. I also was able to people watch for a few hours and just listen to music. So what cool ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany drunkendidier... cute. The centre has lots of old buildings that are pretty. It also has a area that has all little windy streets which is pretty cool. Oh yeah, Becks beer is also from this area and they have a brewery here,
I really have just wandered around the town and rested up as I needed a bit if a break before heading up to Scandinavia in the next few days. This was a nice little town to do that in - aside from the excessive rain today it has been pretty good.

... the building, and we stopped into several "labors" (labs) so I could meet the scientists and students that work there. We also toured this HUGE refrigerator warehouse that was loaded with core samples from all over the world. I learned that worldwide there are three of these massive core depositories: this one in Bremen, another in Texas, and a third in Japan. The room is basically a Costo-esque warehouse that is beige, vast, and frigid (loaner jackets are kept on hooks by the door). The ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany mankyoldboot23We left Rhode Island on Saturday to go to Long Island for the night before my epic adventure. We stayed there for the night and embarked on our journey to Newark but stopped at Lafayette on the way. (Not on the way per say but before Newark, about an hour out of the way in fact). We got to school at about 11:30 and I ran around campus saying hello and goodbye all over again. A lot of people responded to seeing my with "Aren't you supposed to be in a ...
Bremen, Bremen, Germany matunuck17... still :) we arrived at Chaminder's profile page and I made the call. Timing once again took a turn for the best, just catching Chami as he arrived from work (a cycle courier). We jumped the tram to get to his place, over Bremen's bridges on the south side of the city. Chami also lives with Katharina who we met too, both of them are wonderful people who have hosted us for nearly a week now! We started the first night with the last ...
Bremen, Germany david.kairis... a market. Stands sold everything from gherkins to hotdogs, veggie shredders, every type of scissors and cutting element, leather hats and belts, and an array of cleaning brushes and liquids. We stopped at a small van-turned-café where a nice German man was selling coffee. Ed and I ordered an amaretto coffee with ...
Bremen, Germany zento... time to somewhere closer. Bremen is another city-state in Germany so I'll let you all know how it goes. I went to pick up the online ticket at Simon's office, and I headed off to the Hbf. Hopped onto the ICE train and onto another journey I go! I met this really nice old lady from Flensburg (or somewhere close to there, she lives around the border) and we talked about a whole bunch of stuff. She was going to Bremen to visit her Granddaughter. She was explaining how ...
