Did you know that St. Nick was buried in Bari, Italy? Or so the story goes. And his corpse oozes oil that the basilica sells. That would have been something to see and share. EXPECTED:
Italian drivers are impatient and often reckless. Two examples.
1) On the way into Bari, the rain picked up but did nothing to deter the urgency of the drivers. At a few stoplights, wewere 5 or 6 cars back, a car BEHIND us would aggressively honk their horn IMMEDIATELY as the light turned green: sort of a proactive reminder that they were in a hurry.

So I lied, we didn’t reeeeeeeally miss the boat to Italy, we nearly/would have/were for sure going to miss it, but now we’re on it

This trip so far I have:
- travelled to the furthest point north on the planet I have ever been (Copenhagen)
- travelled to the further point south in the Mediterranean Sea I’ve ever been (Santorini)
- paid the highest taxi fare I’ve ever paid
