      Today we spent all day in Florence. We started the day with a drive up to the Michael Angelo lookout to have a birds eye view of the city. Then off to the jewellery shop to view florentine jewellery full of gemstones..so beautiful but beyond our budget..around €1,000. I learnt their was white, yellow, rose, brown &, black gold.       ... of the Tour de Italia bike race. Now is time for the Bacco store to open. Of course, this lady speaks no English, so don't even try asking her questions. But, this is more than a store, there are 6 vats of wine that they bottle wine with. So we tried 4 of the types and bought 2 bottles, one for 2.50, the other for 3.00. While we were in there a man bought two 10 liter boxes of wine, figure he was a restaurateur buying house wines.

      ... called Monteresso. We walked downhill to the water and rented beach chairs and an umbrella for 6 euros each, well worth it since we'd be there all day.
