      ... beautiful. Huge and Amazing. The National Monument was so busy with tourists (like us) that it wasn't the same as I remember. When Bob and I were there in late 80's - no one visited and everything was quiet. We could touch the trees and actually walk on the ground. Now there is a boardwalk and you can't get near the trees any more.

      ... seen a cute little one in the car park. Onto more windy road, and saw a few more little birds on our way to Stinson beach. A very lovely drive on the Coast that would have been improved by some sunshine. We then headed out to the wine country, Sonoma. Had a lot of traffic,so took a lot longer.       "Where is Sara?" Chloe asked.
