... This struck me as odd because there is a protest about something going on every day here but nobody is protesting gas prices. They are paying on average 50 cents a gallon more than anyone else in the states and I did see one station who advertised $3.39 a gallon. At that price it is way cheaper to buy gas in Canada! It was another 2 miles to the Museum.
... I really liked the atmosphere. It was always busy too, the girls in there work really hard and do a great job. I will miss it! I also really wanted to go to a Benefit makeup boutique before we left San Francisco because its my favourite and only makeup brand I use and they started out in San Francisco. So we quickly swung by Union Square to a benefit shop, unfortunately it was closed because it was early on a Sunday morning so I just had a photo outside.

The next morning it was pretty bad, and so we utilised her extremely expensive travel insurance (like five times the cost of mine), and went to a doctors. We probably waited an hour or so. ... finished walking to Pier 39, bought our passes, then used them to take a one hour tour of the bay, out to the Golden Gate Bridge, under it and back, then around Alcatraz Island. It was very good. Afterwards, we wandered Pier 39 a while, picking our lunch spot. I wanted to get the “iconic clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl.” We settled with Boudin’s, the classic sourdough bread bakery on the wharf in San Francisco. The soup ...
