... for us. Not only did we have to prove that we have a return ticket, but all information that was keyed in to the system was repeated again. This led to a long delay at boarding time. After some online reconnaissance we ventured into the city today for a look around. We drove to a local train station and had no trouble buying day passes from a vending machine for €6 each. Parking was a little drama - the 'park n ride' we drove into closed at 9pm and there was a chance we'd be back later than that. ... the opposite! We ate in a diner, Wurst and Durst; we had wurst, pork sausage with fries, mayo, tomato sauce and mustard. When in Germany, it was OK, the beer better. Then we returned to the bus, another female guide, also great, so the day had improved considerably after a shaky start in regards to our touring! There doesn't seem to be many Asian tourists in the city. They are not catered for at all even though the boat guide made a point in explaining that trade with China ...

... out the back just splashed the water around without driving it and the white posts on the balcony were painted onto the glass!

Nevertheless it was a really good tour through the harbour and I got some sensational blue light photos. The last hour of light after the sun goes down gives some brilliant blue colours for photos and the reflections from the cranes and ship onto the harbour water was fantastic. A good way to finish a very long day!
