... to find our way around however it was so unbelievably jaw dropping that it didn't matter. Once we finished at the museum we then caught a vaporeto almost all around the island and stopping finally in San Marco. We walked through the square a back to our apartment, where we cooked an unbelievable dinner using the fresh produce that we had bough from the markets, we had pasta with fish and mussels. (YUMMM) Once this delightful meal was over we went to ...

... tree (Italy is know for blown glass artwork) and I wanted to get our kid a hooded Italia sweatshirt. We eventually made it to San Marco square and it was packed, full of what looked like every tourist on the island. I was feeling kinda dumb for not just telling them we were going to Philly and getting another hours sleep. When I checked us in on line on the 8th, I was happy to score exit row seats for our first leg, (you know, tall people like us need extra leg room LOL) we already had seats in the 2 across seating on the larger plane so ...

Venezia ti amo!

Arriving at the train station in Venice I was not expecting the famous canals to be immediately in front of me! The surreal site, just like in postcards, took my breath away and this feeling of being in a fairyland continued throughout our time in Venice. After a short walk along a canal we arrived outside our apartment in Canareggio. We killed some time having a cappuccino by the water before we could check into our apartment. At €7 for 2 cappuccinos it was ...
