Day 22. Zermatt.....relax at last.

Today was going to be relaxing, no excuses. We cycled into
Sion and caught a train up to the tourist center of Zermatt which is famous for
its amazing view of the Matterhorn.

The train trip was uneventful and we sat back like rich
people watching the scenery go by from air-conditioned comfort. One change of
train at Visp and two hours later we were in Zermatt.

Time to move again, so we packed up camp and left Martigny
for Sion whereafter finding parking at the station we caught a bus up the
mountain to visit the Pyramids De Euseigne. The bus dropped us in the town of
Euseigne and we walked back along the road to view the Pyramids.

The Pyramids are difficult to describe as they are really
one of the most unusual natural formations that I have ever seen. These

Dinner came almost unexpectedly as our caretaker brought over steaming bowls of vegetable soup in a tomato broth followed by a pile of tender leafy greens lightly dressed with a Dijon vinegarette.
