I was in Miami for a weekend and this was the rooftop pool of the Gansevoort Hotel.

We Were in Miami Bitch
... Miami. Well we thought we were but ended up getting lost or missed the 2nd bus stop we had to take or something. Our hotel was in North Miami which was a $45 taxi from where we were. Ouch. No use crying over spilt milk though. Our hotel was very nice with an awesome pool and friendly managers. We stocked up on groceries and beer for the week from the Walgreens across the road.

Wooohooo first class was bloody amazing! We never had to wait in those long lines, we ate a restaurant quality 3 course meal, had so much room to move and drank like fishes for free! We couldn't wipe the smile off our faces. And it was the little things like getting off the plane first to pick up your luggage that was already waiting there before the belt even started going! Beginning of the Honeymoon
Traveling all day is such a joyous experience; everyone should experience this at least, or in our case twice (because, after all, you do have to get back to where you started.)
We started the day at PDX. I may be a little biased because I am a native Oregonian, but I love PDX. Everyone is friendly in true Oregon fashion, security goes quickly and easily and the Starbucks in the terminal has the same prices ...
