I'm not sure exactly what that meant since we could take pictures of the 2-4 year olds, but I know there was bad press right before the olympics about China "exporting" their babies, and deplorable conditions shown in a rural orphanage. All adoptions slowed down then, and I would guess the "privacy" means for the orphanage, not for the babies. I'm not sure why, but we were kind of rushed through the facility.     ... my head teacher) and I rode a motor taxi home. But the poor guy had no idea where he was going. We ended up getting a 15 min tour of neat little back road communities and such. When he finally found our destination he only charged us 2.5 kuai each instead of a full 5. Just little things like that are the one I remember the most here in the wonderful land of China

    Note: this is actually Hunan province, but it wasn't on the map for some reason.

    Today was good, we rode a bus and played 20 questions and a word game called "contact". We met some new people from New Jersey. I'm now at a hotel in the new city and the hotel is very nice. There's actually good western toilets. I don't like the squat toilets.
