... near our centuries old farmhouse this afternoon. We're staying at a B&B on the island of Nagu and nobody else is here. There are about 6 rooms and this house would hold 15 people or more. But school started August 10, there aren't many foreign tourists, and the locals are done for the season. That's why shoulder season travel is so great: easy to get a room and prices are right. And it's nice and quiet.

After we left the ferry, we walked around the corner of Turku port and because we had not had enough of boats today, we boarded another ship, however this ship was going nowhere and was now a floating hotel. Apparently it was an old famous ship that Finnish people come from all over to see and experience, we just booked it because it was the cheapest accommodation in town.

I am one of the first to arrive I take the opportunity to christen the shower all by myself, I even think of turning all the taps on and running around in each of them but decide that its just wasteful of water and I want to be in and out before someone else comes in to inspect the shower, least they have an awful fright.. this case, don't wish you were here, cause that would be far too many people in the shower.
