... onto that bright little plaza, etc. It is very easy to get lost in Venice, and just as easy to find the way again. The police were young, and polite, but seemed less convinced anything would happen by the filling out of the paperwork. I would rather be filling out paperwork in Venice than most anything, anywhere else. I did my grocery shopping for the evening, stopping at the butcher ...

We are off on a boat down to Greece. That is what we have told the kids anyway. We have hinted that it is a ferry of some sort and have told Izzy not to worry, we won't be doing deck class like Mummy did back 15 years ago, we'll make sure we have ...

Our flight arrived around 9:45 and after we went through customs and picked up our luggage, we bought tickets to take the Alilaguna boat from the airport to near our B & B. we got on the boat T 11:15 and got to see quite a bit as it stopped on Murano, Lido and around Venice. We got off at our stop at 1:00, and it was a five minute walk to La Chicca where we will call home for the next three nights. Our hosts ...
