... main thoroughfare, it is quiet and safe and right on a small canal. Imagine sitting on the toilet and hearing boats going by and waves splashing on the house and you aren't on a boat! Very relaxing. Mary Beth, Scott and the kids take the big bedroom and the kids promptly create a fort/tent out of blankets for their sleeping area. We were told that check-in time was half an hour later than had been specified in our email. Now, normally ...

... was really cute though. We get kinda lost and end up in this one exhibition that was free, but outside the actual exhibition. It was single handily the weirdest thing I've ever been through. There was this video at end, that was just so odd and didn't quite get any of it. We got there at the end of the video, which had to do with S&M, so we both were like, "I have to watch the beginning of this video to see where ...

... main attraction shaped like S, 2.5 miles long and 16 feet deep. It is composed of hundreds of small canals and islands. Most of the buildings were built in 1200's -1700's. It was the center for trading in the 10th century. A lot of tourists come here from around the world and it can be traffic especially during months of July-October. There are vaporetti or water buses, water taxis and gondolas around the grand canal. Gondolas cost much more whilst vaporettis ...
