Venice / Viva Venezia
France to Switzerland to Italy in one day. All via train. Marvelous! If only Mr. Phil were here.
After a good long rest, we wake up late on Saturday morning. Our task today is catching the bus to take the EuRail train to Venice. Skip the shower, grab a bite at the restaurant’s buffet, check out and walk to the bus stop.

... and the structure of towns from that age. It was small but we had good coffee. The only Problem was that we could not find the bus station to go back home. In the end we just stayed at the one and we were lucky, after 10 minutes there was a bus going to Padova. Yeah traffic in italy works a little differently. We found our way back home, and our bikes were waiting for us at the train-station (miracle).

Now I know that Venice can be very smelly and dirty…and it was full of tourists all day …but she was shining!!! She is one of the most beautiful cities in the world…no doubt in my mind at all.
We all made our way to the top deck to see Venice off in style…we had our drinks and our nibblies and watched Venice from the top deck …during sunset as we sailed out into the Adriatic Sea …we all felt ...

... The first we visited was from Spain and featured no art because that was the artist's statement, which was kinda ironic and interesting. We then found ourselves in the imagiNation pavilion which featured some very intriguing artists that made you think, one of my favorites was the dadaism room, which had clay in 3 colors which you could mold and adapt as you saw fit. ... hne aufgebaut, auf der 4 Tage lang die besten Kostüme und Masken vorgestellt werden und am Sonntag ist dann die Siegerehrung für das beste Kostüm. Ich fand es wahnsinnig beeindruckend wie aufwändig und detailreich manche Kostüme waren. Aber es gab nicht nur die traditionellen Masken und Kostüme wie Casanova oder die Pest, wir konnten auch eine Uhr, einen Schmetterling, eine Schnecke und ...
