... Sforzesco for a brief walk around - it is huge and beautifully built with rounded brick turrets and huge courtyards. We decided not to catch the metro but walk through the city, it is more interesting that way. We then visited the Duomo for an inside look. We took the audio tour, visited the crypt and found a cardinal Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster who was honoured for his contributions. He might be related! We then decided to go up to the roof of the Duomo ( ... Steps). What ...

We had two hours to shop but I must say it was pretty disappointing overall. There were a lot of sales but like in Rome last year we found little that we couldn't find at home and ...

... trip back to the central station to check out where we needed to be next morning for the trip to Florence preceded returning to our Motel which had been serviced and was nice and cool.
A restorative shower and we returned to the little pizzeria from the previous night so GG could try the marinara dish I'd had the previous night and after which he'd been lusting all day! Bellisimo!
That was our day and putting my feet up felt great when we returned!
I'll upload some photos ...
