Gamagori Prince Hotel

Well, the first week has gone pretty quick. I've spoken more Japanese in the last couple of days than I have in the last couple of years! It's been really fun. I thought that I would share with you some things that I have learnt about myself since arriving in Japan.

... s horrible. Think Maccona, Nescafe, Arriva. That's what I'm dealing with here people. Even coffee houses serve up the same filter-brewed mess. Nightmare on Cafe Street. You can ride the most efficient public transport system, buy the world's most advanced technology, **** in a loo that sings to you, but not buy a good cup of coffee. Anyway, never again.

After breakfast, I did a bit of shopping, had a wander ...

Sorry for the blunt title, but it's true. This is one ugly city. There are some interesting architectural buildings here, but overall... dump.

My hotel room is so small that I'm surprised that both me & my luggage fits. There is just enough room for the single bed, although it does, thankfully have its own shower & toilet. However, I can't say that the room would make legal height back in Oz. Stepping into ...
