The path was nice and easy, with some 3-5m drops here and there (not too bad) and passed through a couple of long tunnels. Good thing we did as the guide book recommended and brought torches, because they are low ceilinged and dark. One were rather wet, and had puddles on the floor, so our sandaled feet got wet and a bit muddy.

We had a bit of a mishap coming into our berth,I think it was a matter of too many chiefs but lucky enough the guy in the dingy saved the day.
It was a fine marina with a purpose built town around it.Unfortunetly the town was deserted and never finished

Recife Blog Great excitement as we arrived, but were a little shocked at the poverty near the docks and town we were taken to. The gift shops were situated in an old prison and each sell had a shop in. Very dark and dismal and needless to say we left as quickly as possible.
