      ... slopes. The grapes are beginning to ripen and just as some of the trees are beginning to colour for Autumn. Soon we crossed into Slovenia but only for about 100k. The road wasn’t quite as good and nor the houses though they continue to be well cared for. Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia, the most prosperous region.
