... safety. We can't imagine being in that situation with our own children. We had already programmed Doris with the co-ordinates for a camping stop, she was happy to show us the route, but wouldn't speak to us, 'she had sent us to Coventry' we found the camping place easily enough, the site was almost full of Italian campers that were being stored there, there was hook up, but unfortunately we didn't have the correct plug to fit, that's a job for ...

Wednesday Dec 24th - We arrived at Ancona rail station to be greeted by Gino, it's nice to see a familiar face. Great to see Rita, and smell some home made cooking.

Thursday Dec 25th - Christmas Day in Italy. Liam was awake early - surprise! It was quite foggy outside which didn't lift until about 10am, not too cold about 10C. We had a quite lunch with Rita and Gino, typical Italian meal - first course of pasta being lasagne, second course meat which ...

October 8: This was our last day with our Italian host family and we laid didn't leave the house until 10:30am (so yes, a late start!). We met a friend for a caffe' (coffee) for lunch and then walked the town of Fabriano. We were treated to a special behind-the-scenes of a beautiful theater. This was right out of the movie Amadeus. Very limited (but beautiful) plush red velvet seat on the floor however the "cool" factor here ...

11:59pm October 4: I'm technically writing this at 6:15am on Sunday morning (the 5th) but I want it to fall chronologically for what I did Saturday soooo.... We are staying with an amazing Italian family in Fabriano, Italy. Many of you may have never heard of this town having, being a graphic designer and artist, this town is the Holy Grail of paper, specifically watermarking. Watermarking is the process of putting an image into the paper so that when you hold it ...
