Nice having space to move. A real kettle not just a coffee machine. No tea/coffee/sugar provided.

... br> Lunch: Goode’s Barbecue for Texas style barbecue (brisket). Yum-yum! Brisket, cole slaw, Texas toast with jalapeņos, and beans. Jim had pinto beans with jalapeņos while Barbara had Austin style baked beans (beans, pork belly, pieces of brisket, red bell peppers, onions and apples-what a surprise). Both were delicious.

Next we thought we’d shop at the Galleria Mall. Big mistake! ...

... a piano and asked if I could play. Having not touched the ivories for more than a month I really enjoyed the chance to play a few hymns. Unwittingly I paved the way for Judy to ask if I'd like to play for the meeting the next day. They have very few pianists and Judy said she finds it quite tiring playing so regularly..so I have now joined the pianist roster at North Houston, which is rather nice.
