... in weeks, so good I made another sandwich for dinner, and put it in the refrigerator. We then went up to the top of the ship for sail away. As we got to the top of the ship we got a quick reminder of where we were. Coming from a mosque about a hundred yards from the port was the Moslem call to prayer. OK, we can sail now. Quickly. Donna is now watching a movie in bed as we listen to a dryer in the laundry next door squeal, and bounce all over the ship. Sea day ...

... to be believed had a tunnel running underground from the library to the brothel so when the men said they were going to the library , guess what! We also stopped at the temple of Artemis which is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then on to the the place which is supposed to be the home of Mary, mother of Jesus - she is supposed to have lived ...

... and read for ages before heading down for an early lunch of fish soup, moussaka and creme brûlée - YUMMY followed by a siesta - very nice :) Woke up to the sound of ship docking at Kusadasi followed by MANY announcements about shore excursions and disembarkation!! So.... We woke up and headed for a stroll around Kusadasi which is something we didn't have time for when we were on the "on the go tour"... Stopped and had a cup of tea ...

... met back up with our driver and she drove us into the small town close by where her carpet shop was. We walked in her shop and was greeted by a Turkish guy with an Aussie accent. He grew up in Australia and moved back to Turkey with his wife and children. He was a really friendly guy and was good to speak to someone that could understand our accents. His shop assistant made us a turkish apple tea while the guy started to tell us the history of all the carpets.  Now I think ...
