... picked up so we are literally rocking and rolling back and forth. Rather eerie when you can't see outside anymore. I guess they have done this trip numerous times. Time to go and find something to eat I think. OMG. Never take the fast jet from Santorini to Athens. Nearly eight hours later we finally arrived! On this occasion, we grilled chicken and octopus.

The meal was absolutely delicious. With them, it is always a mixture of Italian, Spanish, English and Japanese. Invariably there is confusion on who is translating what language to whom and we all have a laugh.

Dinner is divine. One of the restauranteurs till tell us that the food at Naxos is just amazing , no matter where we eat and he was right. We walk afterwards and come across a gorgeous sweet shop called Portioli's so in we go; Aegean macaroons for Natasha and I, and ...

My arrival on Paros didn't get off to a very good start, as when I arrived into the port at Parikia, there was no one from the hotel there to take me to the resort. Fortunately, a nice man called Danos who was selling rooms, offered to call my hotel and let them know that I was waiting for them. I was told I would be picked up in an hour and a half, which I was not happy about as I was eager to get to my hotel and get settled. However, showing my displeasure at this I was ...
