Aujourd'hui ce termine mon aventure en Italie! Mais quelle aventure de reve! Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

We had a Chinese waiter who, when we asked what meat the Cotoletto was said "Kang-roo" and fell about laughing. Cheeky bugger. On our way to Milan from Abu Dhabi this morning, we dragged ourselves out of bed at 5.15 am.
Our flight from Abu Dhabi to Milan was at 9 am - again we were lucky enough to be told by the check-in lady that the two rows in front were free.
