One of the other new teachers didn't make it through her probation period and was let go this week, meaning I am taking one of her classes. This weekend I was so excited to get out of the city! I was ready to go and see some more of Taiwan. We decided to just open up our Rough Guide to Taiwan book and pick a place. We thought Lions Head Mountain area sounded like a good pick. Myself and 4 other teachers packed up on Sa***************ed out for a day of hiking. We first had to take the high speed rail. High speed rails are great! I have also taken the one in Spain. Traveling is so easy on them ...

... it has been a pretty lazy weekend. With all the rain you don't really want to go out and do anything.

Well I am hoping that the rain will let up a little bit this week. I will be getting paid on Monday so I will finally have money to go out and do some more exploring!!

... absolutely loved it and were squealing with delight as they all lined up for a turn, while the chaperones were about to vomit. What made the experience even more revolting was that the kids came out of the barn soaked in goat milk from head to toe. We then went back into his restaurant where he (and I am completely serious) gave us all goat milk popsicles and sent us on our way. It was the most...ummm...unique field trip I have ever been on.
