    Got to a downtown port location, thus able to WALK THRU OLD TOWN from 9 to 12:30.

    In the Town Center is a huge cathedral, occupying two blocks, at least 15 stories high, filled with filigree and buttressed walls. It was built over 25 years beginning about 1350.     ... on their altar. Really!!!!!???? Outside is really black and grimy but can't be cleaned because it is too difficult to get to it. Spent our break looking round shops and eventually found ourselves an extra bag for travelling. Pleased about that.
