    ... men to finish it and it took 38 years! After touring the church, we got the rental (Mercedes!) and drove 1.5 hours to a town near the start of the Mosel river. Tomorrow we will visit a castle and some small, German towns. It's warm and muggy today but sunny. We ate a delicious German lunch and a yummy Italian dinner! Go figure. Cheers to all in ...

    ... successfully with the help of a few friendly people. Germans are very helpful and if you ask for assistance go out of their way to get you to where you want to go. We arrived at the cruise boat successfully and were ushered on board to our cabin. I was initially disappointed with the view of concrete from our French balcony (see photo) until Rosanne pointed out we were still in dock!     ... amp; as soon as you have finished another one is served & a mark on your mat keeps tally of how many you have drunk. The idea is that the beer is always 'fresh' & freshly drawn. Worked well..J had an impressive number of marks......
