Friday 18th November - Checked out of the dreaded bungalow in Samui...thank god! Got sawngthaew (open backed taxi van thing!) to ferry port and got hauled onto a coach to board the ferry. Got some beer, more night market food (hold the exoskeletons), and camped out in the train station waiting for the overnight to Bangkok. ... we were dropped off and we got a cab over to patong where we were staying. The driver had no idea where our hotel was, he stopped and asked directions numerous times, and tried to convince us we were at the right place and to get out a few times as well.
