It's extremely humid here as it's officially rainy season. We got stuck out on the bike in a storm on our last night, which was a bit scary as the roads were treacherous and we were on the opposite side of the island at the time. In fact the rain had us completely drowned within about 10 minutes so we pulled over at the first opportunity - a 7/11! ... in consideration we decided to leave bottle beach for our next visit in March and drive up north to the neighboring beach. We hopped in the jeep and drove to Ko Ma, a small island connected to Mae Haad by a sand bar. Similar to Ko Nang Yuan but less spectacular. It was a nice swim and a nice day to be out.
