          ... got to the little road we identified where the restaurant should be situated and drove all the way down to the beach, which looked quite deserted. We parked the bike and took a walk along the beach to the nearest restaurant, then the next… nothing.           ... low season worked in my favour allowing me to have a one on one session as opposed to participating in a group lesson. The water temperature was perfect and visibility was on point providing an extremely satisfying scuba diving experience. Hats off to Steve my instructor at the Siam Dive Centre who effortlessly made me feel relaxed and at ease throughout the day. He has the patience of a saint! ...

          ... got cold...really...Emma quit being a drama queen.   At the end of this absolutely magical day, which everyone agreed has been one of our best days on this adventure trip, Colette bargained our way into a 4x4 taxi. The driver was late to get home to his wife and decided he could skip the traffic on the main road by taking the backroad across the middle of the island. It wound it's way between two mountains before climbing right over the top of the next one ...

          ... Why right beside a cart selling....Grasshoppers, Crickets and Silk Worms! were some men there, wolfing down big containers of them. The bugs were covered in bbq seasoning Ersh! We bought some groceries at the Tesco Lotus store later, so we have some food in our room for breakfast and snacks.

          ... buzzing with people the night before was practically dead. Everyone walked slow and took their time getting to their destinations. I felt like I was in heaven. We walked the beach to find ourselves a good spot and instead saw the remnants of last nights victims: flip flops. I don't understand how it happens, but people tend to lose their shoes.
