... a run back up the hill and along the promenade beside the sea. Included dinner in the hotel restaurant was pretty good. Roast veges, followed by Greek salad, followed by yummy pork and mashed potatoes, followed by chocolate mousse. The Greek waiters were really cute with their wee bowties. Then off to bed for an early night - its becoming a routine! Off to Gallipoli tomorrow so we all want to be nice and fresh for ...

On sunday it was raining, but we had a tour in the monastry near the hotel, some drinks in the pub next to it, before going back to Sliven. We arrived their at about 1800, went to a fish restaurant and let the day die away.

... their boss and clients. The ride is expensive and I am not talking just about the fuel - additional road taxes, "gifts" for the customs officialls, enormous fees for the ferry or for crossing the bridge (20min ferry ride on Romania-Bulgaria border costs about 110 euro per truck!).
