The Calm Before the Storm

... Nick's side; and Liam fell in love with Alev. The adults were having adult fun, eating a wonderful dinner, sharing funny family stories, drinking beers, and of course shots of tequila and Polish vodka. The Polish vodka, which was chilled in the freezer, was excellent. It was nice seeing Diane and Brian so happy with their life, and enjoying being with their family and friends.

... a bit of a surprise and a real encouragement to me.
We're really excited about making this trip together and seeing what God has planned for us. There's been a LOT of planning, including some French language learning, but God is in all the details and we're looking forward to it all.
Now, on to Paris Wednesday morning!

Au revior!
