... a lot of rain and then some dry areas to Le Mans. Lee thinks he is driving on the Le Mans track most of the time! The road max is 130 and most do 140-150 and he thinks it is great but you pay tolls for the privilege. Here again just missed the crowds as this last weekend was the famous 24 hour race. Lee wanted to look at the museum, which had many old vintage cars that had raced in the 24 hr Le Mans right up to the modern aerodynamic ...

Rented a car at the Paris airport and off to look for castles in the Loire valley. very quick trip/overnight. it took so long to get out of paris proper that by the time we got to the valley it was dinner time. We stayed in Blois at a recommended B&B...hard to find but a good find with a nice room in a very old building...and a bathroom we could turn around in! walked around the town ...

... e as técnicas existentes na época... interessante, mas como foi em francês, a Deia não entendeu muita coisa e eu acabei perdendo alguma coisa também.... tudo bem, valeu a experiência... estávamos juntos de um grupo de cerca de 35 velhinhos, o mais novo com uns 80 anos de idade... e saltitantes... A demonstração durou uma meia hora...

Depois deu-se inicio ao show principal. Fomos conduzidos para uma tenda montada ao lado da forja. Nesso local ...

... mesmo assim, nota 10 !!!!

Continuamos então nossa epopeia.... mas agora seria por algo mais prazeirozo ainda.... paraos em Amboise para conhecer a chocolateria Bigot, que fica aos pes do castelo. Antes vimos uma casa de degustação de vinhos da região e, como não poderia deixar de ser, degustei mais 3 vinhos.... mas desta vez não comprei nenhum... estou ficando metido.... depois de Bordeaux não há mais comparação..... Paramos ...
