... I didn't really want to go swimming so I just lay on the beach with Emily & Daryan. We then all felt hungry so went and got a gyros (a wrap kinda thing) and bumped into most of the rest of our contiki group who had just finished eating so we pretty much swapped places with them at the restaurant. The weather was terrible and the rain was coming down quiet fiercely.

I only had a short journey to the port and so was in two choices of putting on all my rain gear but finally I decided I better put it on and sure enough I sure needed it.

... is only 11 km from the apartment. It was founded in 1861 by a Bavarian named Clauss. We had to wait for half an hour for the next tour but we had a lovely balcony to stand on and some fortified wine to sip so it was not a hardship.

The tour took us through cask rooms and the old concrete vats. There were 65 concrete vats and they were huge towering 35 to 40 feet high and I think 8 or 10 people holding hands around. It had cost $50,000 when they ...
