... and out the cargo ramp. Then waiting in the hot sun ... Waiting , waiting... Security won't let the coach come to pick us up so half of us onto a shuttle Waiting, waiting, waiting.... Tour director scurrying about melting in the heat temper fraying. The bus now has the other half of our group, back through the terminal but no we aren't allowed through the door we can see the coach but can't get there..... Back out the terminal. Off Ferry and onto coach to Athens

As usual, the first part of the journey from Bari was noisy, noisy. Mainly Italian families and youngsters partying on their way off on holiday.

The ferry empties out at Igumenitsa and from experience I find this is best time to sleep - when there's space to lie across a few of the seats.

... and walked to the ruins – just beautiful , such a natural spot , ruins left to age in their surrounding environment. Amazing to think the Olympics started here 2,800 years ago. Great to see the main arena – there was an American trip of students and teachers organised a race , in 39 degrees !!
