I am writing this post on my phone sitting in a bunk of a church hostel with no phone service, so this will be posted whenever I get service again. Church hostel you ask? That will be the topic of the next post. I had never been afraid of or chased by dogs before and I thought Bicycle Bill was being a bit melodramatic to be so concerned. Turns out he was right. I got chased 2 days ago, and then twice today, where the dog physically ran into the street ...

... we needed to go. The town of Stuart, on Jeb Stuart Highway. This must be changed, I am so offended. So, we got straightened out doing some ridge running. Beautiful country. Made our way to Meadows of Dan. I have looked at real estate online in this area on and off for the last couple years. Made our way into an area called fancy gap. We are now at the fancy gap KOA. Very beautiful here as ...

Yesterday was a driving day, we set off from Nashville and other than a stop for lunch when we stopped at a park and played football or frisbee we drove for most of the day and went to Virginia. The campsite last night was lovely, had a nice swim and a relax and made ...

Despite our best intentions, we had a slow start to the day. We got up a bit later than planned and took our time getting packed and ready to go. After a quick stop for some breakfast we headed back into the mountains to catch some more waterfalls.
First stop was Looking Glass Falls which was a fairly good waterfall that fell into a very inviting pool at the bottom. Damien was tempted but thought it was a little early for a dip. Next stop was Daniel Ridge falls that was a little off ...

... my camping experience, but without the presence of a bear I hoped. The camping experience got even better as showered and clean, we made pizzas on the campfire. Like my baking attempts, opening a pizzeria my not be the best career change for me. By day we were very refined, by night not so civilised. It was one of the girls 21st birthdays and therefore we had to party in style! Piñatas, 'I have never' and $1 blue wkd substitute!! We camped in Wytheville, in the middle ...
