We had a morning tour Sue and Darren - a lovely couple who are not about religion and are well travelled and down to earth. We were unexpectedly able to dock rather than tender in this port. After breakfast we headed up the path towards the cave and the monastery of St. John. I was a bit of a reluctant participant but Joey was walking regardless. I had spoken to the tour desk before leaving and they indicated that the path did not go all the way to Chora. ... the old dead skin. I didn't notice much difference, but Kinda thinks it was beneficial for her feet.

We walked back to the ship and saw the Queen Elizabeth docked next to our which held several thousand people and dwarfed our cruise ship. I don't think a bigger ship would be any better and personally I prefer exploring new places than staying on the ship and ours had good food and plenty to do.

... next day we took the early morning ferry to Kos. We stopped in the port town of Symi and took some beautiful pictures.
