    ... moment of life and it was great to see her enjoying her day, including a couple of wines and smokes. She hasn't had an easy life by any standard, and was still working hard into her 80's doing cleaning jobs to make ends meet, but as she said, hard work never killed anyone, she is testament to this.     ... and visit Tante Marie. Dad is also keen to take us to the house he lived in I've seen it before but it's more special when dad gets to show us around his home town.     When we arrived in Dronten, we dropped our stuff off in our rooms. We were staying in a guest dormitory at the college CAH Dronten for the night. We had skyped with the students previously, and were supposed to do a group project with them, but it didn't work out. The dorm didn't have gender separations for the bathrooms, which was new to us.

    Our favourite things about Belgium

    Our last day trip began with a nice hot coffee (much needed) and a trip ride to the small town of Horne. It is on the inland sea and about 70 000 people. The train flew by with lovely views of the countryside. Holland has a lot of animals, usually in small patches of farm land. Tonnes of water on the land and the occasional windmill - usually the high tech ones.
