      ... France. After an hour or so we broke up the party and went back to the B&B to get cleaned up for dinner. We then picked up Tom and met Juno at a very nice restaurant situated next to a canal. As the ships cruised up and down the canal we learned about all the happenings in each of our subsequent travels and managed to eat several steaks, salads, desserts and of course, a few more beers.

      The night ended fairly early and I felt like we'd fully enjoyed this day once again. ...

So perhaps we should look at art as one means that could bring on a new renaissance.       ... it is obvious that they have been suffering for many generations under Russian-German-Russian rule. During those times no one had anything to smile about I guess, so my take is that children grew up with unhappy looking people all around, and having a stern face comes natural to them. Also there is the fact in Russia, the Baltic States and Poland, under communism there was no competition between businesses as everything was state owned. So why go out of your way to give good ...

      ... was tired so she laid down to rest before dinner .
      Dinner was a typical Dutch meal served to us in Hoorn in the West Fresian Museum with Dutch hosts sitting at our tables and interacting with us. The meal was like beef stew, but with the potatoes and carrots mashed together and served on the side. It was tasty.
